Today Engine 73 with 6 Volunteers took part in the St. Mary's County Airport Open House. Did you know that Hollywood VFD is responsible for fire suppression at St. Mary's Airport? Did you know that numerous of Hollywood VFD Members are certified in Aircraft Fire and Rescue? Over the years of the Airport Operations, we have responded to numerous incidents at or around the airport. Majority of the incidents are minor in nature and our handled with minimal response. We are happy to be able to work together with the airport staff and are always available for any needs they have. Thanks for allowing us to take part in this event and continuing to support Hollywood VFD.
