Tanker Responds to Large Brush Fire in St. Mary's City

At approximately 1300 Sunday 28 June 2020, Tanker 74 was alerted to transfer to Bay District Station 3. While heading to the transfer, the Tanker was requested to respond to the scene of the Brush Fire on Rosecroft Road in St. Mary's City. Tanker 74 responded and assisted on the scene extinguishing fire throughout a field on Rosecroft Road and supplying multiple Brush Trucks. Units remained on the scene for several hours extinguishing hot spots and mopping up. Chief 7B (Rector) responded on the incident and assisted in the Unified Command Post. Tanker 74 returned to quarters at 1645 hours.
