Engine, Tanker, and Deputy Chief on Lusby House Fire

At 2118 hours Engine 9, Engine 7, Engine 3, Tanker 9, Tanker 7, and Truck 3 were dispatched Mutual Aid to Calvert County, at 615 Lisa Ln. in Lusby for the House Fire. Engine 73, Tanker 74, and Chief 7B responded shortly after dispatch with 12 Volunteers.

Units from Solomons arrived on location of a two story single family home with fire showing from the roof. Engine 73 arrived on location as the 3rd arriving Engine, laying a supply line into the scene, with the crew advancing an attack line to the structure. The crew of Engine 73 assisted with fire attack and opening up. Tanker 74 arrived on location supplying the fire ground with water with the crew proceeding to the scene. The crew of Engine 74 relieved the first arriving crews and performed overhaul duties.

The units from Hollywood remained on the scene assisting with overhaul before returning to service. Engine 73 and Tanker 74 returned to quarters at 2355 hours.
