At 0550 hours Engine 7, Engine 1, Engine 9, Tanker 1, Tanker 9, Tanker 3, Truck 7, Truck 1, Rescue Squad 3, Water Supply 5, EMS Station 79, and EMS Station 19 were dispatched to 24740 Nelson Hill Way for the Garage Fire. Engine 861(as Engine 7 on the transfer), Tanker 74, Truck 7, Rescue Squad 7, and Chief 7A responded with 17 Volunteers shortly after dispatch on the run.

Engine 861 was first to arrive. laying a supply line from the road, finding a one story single family home with fire showing from the attic of an attached garage. Engine 861 advanced and attack line to the structure and established the Command. Truck 7 was next to arrive taking a position on Side "A" of the Structure. Chief 7A arrived on location and assumed the Command, assigning Engine 861 as the "Attack" Group Supervisor and Truck 7 as the "Vent" Group. Crews found fire in the garage and attic area and extinguished the same. The crew of Truck 7 opened up for the Engine and performed a search of the structure. Tanker 74 and Rescue Squad 7 arrived and went to work, assisting with ventilation and overhaul. The fire was extinguished before making it's way into the leaving area of the House.

The bulk of the fire was extinguished within 10 minutes of arrival and crews started performing overhaul. Command scaled the assignment back to Engine 861 and the Units from Station 7.

All units from Hollywood cleared the scene with Engine 861 remaining on the scene for the investigators. Engine 861 returned to Station 7 at 0844 hours after assisting the Fire Marshall.

*On a side note, this Fire occurred the same day we had the honor to escort Sgt. Rollin Nolan Scully on his final journey. We know Nolan was smiling down on us saying, "We've got Action" and "Here Comes the Tiller Truck". We know Nolan will forever be watching over us anytime we have "Action".*

**Thank you to the Huntingtown VFD, the Dunkirk VFD, and the Kentland VFD who all covered our Station while we honored Sgt. Rollin Nolan Scully these past couple of days. These transfer Companies took in several calls, including 3 Box Alarms with 1 being a Working Fire.**
