Guestbook

I just visited the website for nostalgia. I was born and raised in Hollywood. My oldest son, John, graduates tonight from Firefighter 1 training class. He eats, drinks and sleeps fighting fires. I want to get involved in the Ladies Auxiliary here and just thought I'd see what HVFD was up to. My youngest son, Tommy, is the volunteer photographer for SVFD. He wants to go into law enforcement. You guys & gals are the talk of the town here. I wish all of you the best and hope to visit the station in the near future, when it isn't due to a family funeral. Again, I wish you all the best and thanks for some great family memories from your annual carnival.

Just got to say very nice site and department, really like the your videos just another proven fact a true firefighter is a VOLUNTEER. Keep up the good work.

I lived in Hollywood, Md for ten years (1957 to 1967). I saw Santa at the fire station, my parents bought our Christmas trees in the parking lot and it seems as though there was a yearly carnival in that same lot!! I remember the day the fire trucks came and put out my neighbor's burning garbage in their back yard. It has been a long time since I visited Hollywood but this website made me feel a little closer.
Carry on!! Fondly, Renee

Thank you for bringing Santa around again this year! Great to see you take the time out of your busy schedules to put smiles on childrens AND adults face's! Keep up your hard work and dedication to your community! Happy holidays to you all.

Just wanted to let you know how much we appreciate you bringing Santa to the neighborhoods! Keep up the good work and thank you all for your hard work & dedication. I don't know what we'd do without you!!!

I remember back in 1991 when the Tidewater Fire Photographers Association traveled from Virginia to be a part of the Opening Dedication For the new Hollywood Fire House....I remember some great photos were taken as well. Great Site...As Always, stay alert, stay alive and I am........
