At 1823 hours Station 9, Station 7, Station 3, Water Supply 5, EMS Station 79 and EMS Station 39 were dispatched 23270 Three Notch Rd in California for the House Fire. Engine 72, Engine 73, Truck 7, and Chief 7 all responded on the call with 12 volunteers. Engine 92 arrived on the scene first reporting a working fire and they would be dropping a supply line from Three Notch Rd. Engine 72 was next to arrive, picking up Engine 92's supply line while the crew advanced a back-up line into the structure. Truck 3 arrived as the first due special service and started opening up for the Engine Companies working inside. Chief 3 arrived and established the Command and advised all other units not on the scene to stage on Three Notch Rd. Truck 7 and Engine 73 remained in staging while the companies on the scene checked for extension. With the fire out and crews in the process of overhauling, Command held the units on the scene and returned the rest of the assignment. Truck 7 and Engine 73 returned to quarters at 1846 hours. Engine 72 remained on the scene assisting Bay District with Overhaul and cleared the fire ground at 1932 hours. The State Fire Marshall's Office is handling the investigation and Chief 3 (Gould) held the Three Notch Command.
