March 15, 2016

At 1604 hours Station 7, EMS Station 79, and EMS Station 19 were dispatched to the 24900 block of McIntosh Road in Hollywood for a Motor Vehicle Accident with a reported vehicle on Fire. Rescue Squad 7 and Engine 72 responded with 10 Volunteers on the call.

Captain 7 was first to arrive finding a single vehicle into a tree with a small fire under the hood. After evaluating the patient, Captain 7 established the "Hollywood Command", advising one patient was removed from the vehicle and the fire was out. Rescue Squad 7 arrived on location and assisted with patient care and securing the vehicle. The Patient was deemed a Priority 2 Category "B" Trauma and a Medevac was requested for transport to the Trauma Center. Engine 72 established a Landing Zone at Tippet's Ballfield for Trooper 7.

Ambulance 198 transported the single occupant to the Landing Zone and turned over patient care to Trooper 7. Trooper 7 transported the Patient to PG Trauma Center and all units cleared the scene.

At 1636 hours, as Rescue Squad 7 returned to quarters, Communications advised them to copy a Box in Mechanicsville. Rescue Squad 7 and Truck 7(with a 3rd Crew) responded with a total of 11 Volunteers for the reported House Fire. The units were placed in service a short time later with command holding units on the scene with food on the stove.

The Units from Station 7 returned to quarters at 1653 hours.

Units: Rescue Squad 7, Engine 72, Ambulance 198, Medic 5, and Trooper 7
