The Engine crews stretched lines while the Truck started opening up searching for the fire. Crews were met with moderate smoke conditions throughout the house and found a fire in the living room portion of the house. Crews made quick work of the fire and started checking for extension. Primary searches were completed with negative results and extension was found in the walls and in the floor between the basement and first floor. The fire was deemed under control within 10 minutes and the assignment was scaled back to the units from Station 7 and Engine 31.
Crews remained on the scene and assisted the Fire Marshal before returning to service. The fire was caused by an electrical issue in the living room and no injuries were reported. Chief 7 held the "Hollywood" Command with Chief 7B as the "Attack" Group Supervisor. The Units from Station 7 returned to quarters at 1547 hours.
