At 0347 hours Station 3, Station 13, Station 9, and Station 6 were dispatched to 21652 Enterprise Dr. in Lexington Park for the reported House Fire. Chief 3 responded shortly after dispatch and requested the next due Squad be added to the call. At 0350 hours Rescue Squad 7 was added to the call as units arrived on location finding a working fire. Rescue Squad 7 and Chief 7B responded on the call with 6 Volunteers.
Engine 31 was first to arrive at 0352 hours advising they had a "House Fully Involved". Chief 3 arrived and established the Command finding a 2 story single family home with fire in an attached garage and extension into the house. Crews from Station 3, 13 and 9 began an exterior attack on the structure and knocked down the bulk of the fire before proceeding to the interior. Rescue Squad 7 and Chief 7B arrived on location with the Rescue Squad being assigned Rapid Intervention and Chief 7B assigned to Division 2. Crews operated for several minutes inside the structure finding fire on both floors and the attic. Rescue Squad 7 was re-assigned to Division 2 to assist with opening up and performed overhaul.
Rescue Squad 7 and Chief 7B remained on the scene for just under 2 hours before being released by Command. Rescue Squad 7 returned to quarters at 0604 hours.
