On Saturday 2 May 2020 at approximately 1130 hours, Units form Hollywood VFD (Rescue Squad 7, Engine 72, Utility 7 and Chief 7B) were clearing the scene of a possible Confined Space Rescue when they were dispatched to 45300 Scotch Neck Road for a subject who had accidentally ran his lawnmower off an embankment. Personnel arrived on the scene to find a male patient who was approximately 20' down an embankment and the crews went to work by assessing the patient, setting up a 3-1 hauling system with the stokes basket and safely ascended the patient. Crews did a remarkable job and the patient was medivac to a Trauma Center by Maryland State Police Trooper 7 with non-life threatening injuries. Fire Chief 7 (R. Brady) held the Hollywood Command.
