Hollywood Volunteers Run First-Due Structural Fire

At approximately 0745 hours on Monday 2 March 2020, HVFD Station 7 was dispatched for the reported structure fire in the 24700 block of Old Three Notch Road. Engine 72, Truck 7, Tanker 74, Chief 7A, and Chief 7B responded on the incident with 12 Volunteers. Chief 7A and Engine 72 arrived on the scene within minutes finding fire showing from a large shed and exposure to additional sheds and a single wide home trailer. Crews stretched an attack line, extinguishing the bulk of the fire quickly. Truck 7 arrived and assisted with ventilation / overhaul, while Tanker 74 supplied Engine 72. The fire was placed under control and the assignment was scaled back to units on the scene. Crews remained on the scene performing overhaul and checking for hot spots. Command was terminated and units returned to service within an hour. Chief 7A (Doug Insley) held the Hollywood Command.
