At approximately 1336 hours Thursday 23 January 2020, Rescue Squad 7 and Chief 7 responded to a motor vehicle accident near the intersection of Three Notch Road and Hollywood Road. Units arrived on the scene to find a passenger car and a dump truck involved with one injured. The injured patient was transported by EMS to the hospital. HVFD Chief 7 held the Hollywood Command. This was the 5th incident so far today for the Hollywood Volunteers. While Rescue Squad 7 and Chief 7 were operating on the motor vehicle accident, Engine 72 was on the scene of an Emergency Medical Incident that was dispatched minutes before the accident. A total of 10 Hollywood Volunteers were currently staffing the 3 units on these incidents.
