The Officers and Members of HVFD and HVFDLA would like to Congratulate HVFD Past Fire Chief, Life Member and Current Assistant Fire Chief Doug Insley on his recent retirement. Chief Insley served 28 Years with Arlington County, Virginia Fire Department, starting his career there in February 1992 as a Fire Fighter. Prior to Chief Insley becoming a Career Fire Fighter with Arlington County Fire Department, he was a Federal Firefighter with NDW Fire Department, where he started in June 1989. Chief Insley officially retired on Thursday 16 January 2020 as a Battalion Fire Chief. CONGRATULATIONS Chief Insley on your retirement and all of your future endeavors.
