Auto Fire with Extension to 2 Sheds

At 1743 hours, Engine 7, Engine 2, Engine 9, Tanker 2, Tanker 1, Tanker 9, Truck 7, Truck 3, Rescue Squad 1, Water Supply 5, EMS Station 79, and EMS Station 29 were dispatched to the area of Loveville Road and Kavanaugh Road for an Auto Fire next to a Structure. Engine 72, Truck 7, Tanker 74, Rescue Squad 7, Chief 7, and Chief 7B responded with 23 Volunteers on the incident.

Chief 7 was first to arrive, correcting the address off of Old Red Oak Lane, finding a vehicle on fire with extension to two sheds. Chief 7 established the Command while Engine 72 arrived on location. laying out from Loveville Road to the scene. The Crew of Engine 72 stretched an attack line to protect the multiple exposures next to the auto and knocking the bulk of the fire down. Truck 7 was next to arrive and assisted the Engine Company with opening up with Tanker 74 arriving and picking up the supply line. Rescue Squad 7 arrived and assisted units on the scene with lighting and overhaul. Crews also removed a dog that was near the shed that was on fire. The Members of Station 7 made quick work of the fire and Command scaled the assignment back to units from Station 7 only.

The Units from Station 7 remained on the scene performing overhaul duties before returning to service at 1858 hours. Station 7 called in an additional crew for Engine 73 to cover the Station while Units operated on the scene of the fire.
