Hollywood Volunteers Triple Pull to Coltons Point House Fire

At 0445 hours Engine 5, Engine 2, Engine 7, Tanker 5, Tanker 1, Tanker 2, Truck 1, Truck 7, Charles County Rescue Squad 2, EMS Station 59, and EMS Station 19 were dispatched to 20171 Windy Lane in Coltons Point for the House Fire. Engine 72 and Truck 7 responded shortly after dispatch with 9 Volunteers.

Engine 52 was first to arrive finding a 2 story single family home with fire showing from the 1st and 2nd floors. Additional units from Station 5, 1, and 2 arrived on location a short time later and assisted with fire attack. Chief 5 arrived on location and established the Command, requesting 2 additional Tankers be added to the assignment. With a 3rd crew in quarters, Tanker 74 was added to the run with 3 additional Volunteers. Truck 7 and Engine 72 arrived simultaneously and went to work on the 1st and 2nd floors. The Hollywood Volunteers proceeded to the 2nd floor once all visible fire was knocked on the 1st floor. The crews opened up and assisted with fire attack throughout the 2nd floor. Engine 72 reported to the fill site and set up for a Tanker shuttle.

Command reported the fire was knocked and under control within 30 minutes of the arrival of the 1st Engine. Command scaled the assignment back to the units from Station 5 and 1 with all others picking up and returning to service.

The Units from Station 7 returned to quarters at 0724 hours.
