At approximately 0145 hours, Units were dispatched to a reported Saw Mill fire on Thompson Corner Road in Mechanicsville. Truck 7, Rescue Squad 7, and Chief 7 responded with 12 Volunteers on the incident. First arriving units found a 100 x 40 Saw Mill with fire showing. Hollywood Finds Work in Sandgates

Hollywood Volunteers, June 05

At 1702 hours Engine 7, Truck 7, Tanker 7, Squad 7, Tanker 2, Engine 2, Tanker 1, Truck 1, Charles County Squad 2, Charles County Tanker 2, Engine 3, Ambulance 79, and Ambulance 29 were alerted to the 27000 block of Barton St for the reported house fire. Engine 72, Tanker 74, Truck 7, Squad 7, Chief 7, and Deputy Chief 7 responded shortly after dispatch with 20 volunteers.

Hollywood Volunteers, May 25

On May 25, 2018; Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department hosted the graduation of Fire, Rescue & EMS Cadet Class #11.
In September 2017, Hollywood VFD partnered with St. Mary's County Public Schools, Maryland Fire & Rescue Institute and other local Fire & Rescue Departments to provide extensive coursework and clinical training.

Hollywood Volunteers Run First Due Working Fire

Hollywood Volunteers, May 09

At 1628 hrs Engine Companies 7, 1, 9, Truck Companies 7, 9, Tankers 1, 2, 1002, Squad 2 , Chief 7 and Chief 7A responded to the 26000 Block of Peninsular Dr in Hollywood Shores for the reported garage fire attached to the house. Within 4 minutes of dispatch Chief 7 arrived on the scene to find a 2 story single family home with fire throughout the first and second floors. Engine 72 arrived and stretched ... Hollywood Volunteers, May 06

At 1634hrs Engine 7, Truck 7, Tanker 1, Engine 1, Engine 9, Tower 9, Tanker 2, Squad 2, Hughsville Tanker 2, and Water Supply 5 were dispatched for a reported house fire at 26417 Hillendale Rd. The caller reported a fire in one of the bedrooms. Engine 73, Truck 7, Tanker 74, Squad 7, Chief 7 and Chief 7A responded shortly after dispatch 15 volunteers.
